It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in online Staff Training Week (STW 2021) “Training on Academic Writing and Research Methods” which will be held in September 21-24, 2021. STW 2021 is organized by EKA University of Applied Sciences(Riga, Latvia). The event is aimed at developing participants’ research and writing skills. Academic and research staff members representing social sciences are welcomed to participate!

STW 2021 programme contains several workshops about research design, research paper structure and an application of research methods. Besides, participants will have the opportunity to meet journal editors and ask the questions about reviewing and publishing process.

  • STW 2021 is organized within Erasmus+ programme. We do not know exactly about the situation with COVID-19 limitations in September in Latvia. That is why we plan training activities online, thus is possible to apply for virtual mobility. But if the boarders are opened, participants are welcomed to come to Riga and social events will be organized for them.
  • The participation fee will be free of charge.
  • To register, please fill an application form and send it to EKA University of Applied Sciences: erasmus@eka.edu.lv   
  • Deadline for applying: Sunday, 12 September, 2021
  • The official language for this event is English (B2 level).
  • The number of participants is limited to 20.
