2nd International Week – University of Florence, Italy – REOPENING

Dear Colleagues,

we are getting in touch concerning the second International Week for teaching staff that the School of Political Science at the University of Florence is organizing from 21 to 25 October 2019.

Due to the summer break, various universities asked us to extend the deadline, and we decided to accept the suggestion in order to make sure that all the colleagues interested in this event might be able to send in their applications.

We have therefore re-opened the call for participation, setting the new deadline on 15 September. However, since we have already received many applications, and we might not be able to accept all the proposals, we kindly ask all interested people to apply as soon as possible.

Academic staff from partner universities will have the opportunity to give guest lectures and present their home institution to our students and faculty. This is a great chance to increase the cooperation between our Institutions beyond students’ exchanges. Academics are welcome to propose lectures in a variety of topics, mostly targeted at students from our BA and MA Programmes. The teaching language is either English or Italian.

There is no participation fee.  However, participants shall use the Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Mobility programme to cover their travelling and accommodation expenses. We invite candidates to check the availability of such funding with their home institution.
