Staff mobilities

Erasmus+ supports both teaching and training periods at higher education institutions (HEIs) abroad.

Teaching staff

Teaching opportunites are available to an academic staff at an institution in Erasmus+ Programme Countries.

A teaching period must last a minimum of 2 days (usual length of teaching mobility of VSE academic staff is 5 – 7 days).

During the stay abroad, the teaching activity must comprise a minimum of 8 hours per week (or any shorter period of stay) of actual teaching time.

Receiving institution has to be a foreign HEI with which VSE has an Inter-institutional agreement for the exchange of academic staff.

Staff training

Training opportunites are available to both academic and non-academic staff at a foreign institution in Erasmus+ Programme Countries.

The main objective of a training mobility is to support the professional development of both academic and non-academic staff of the university and to acquire knowledge or specific know-how from experience and examples of good practice available abroad.

A recognized activity has to be in the form of practical/professional training, job-shadowing, study visit, workshop or seminar. It is not possible to attend conferences!

A training period must last a minimum of 2 days (usual length of training mobility of VSE staff is 5 – 7 days).

Receiving institution has to be a VSE partner university or any public or private organization active in the labor market or in the field of education.
