Erasmus+ Spring 2019: Increased Financial Support for Students with Disabilities and Students from Disadvantaged Socio-Economic Environment

Additional Funding for Students with Physical, Mental or Health-related Conditions

 

Additional funding is available for participants with special needs. Erasmus+ grant may therefore be higher than the regular grant to offset the specific difficulties faced by the student (such as adapted accommodation, travel assistance, medical attendance, supportive equipment, adaption of learning material, an accompanying person for students and staff with disabilities). This additional support grant is a contribution based on real costs.

Students have to fill in a form describing disability/special need and additional requirements it entails, as well as a detailed cost estimate of the financial support they will need.

Application with all the necessary attachements has to be delivered to the International Office latest by 23.11.2018  (3 pm).

 

 Increased Financial Support for Students from Lower Socio-Economic Background

 

Students may apply for increased financial support for students from lower socio-economic background, provided that before their departure they submit a document that confirms that they are entitled to child benefit and that the income of the family in the previous year, decisive for the benefit, did not exceed the product of the family subsistence level and a coefficient of 1.5.

The documentation must include a translation of the confirmation to Czech (this does not apply to confirmations in Slovak) and the document must be certified in the form of an apostille or superlegalisation.
