VSE hosts international partners from 23 universities
From 18 to 22 May 2026, the Prague University of Economics and Business is hosting the 14th edition of the Prague International Staff Week, traditionally organized by the International Office. The event is designed for colleagues from partner universities and focuses on sharing experiences, best practices, and fostering international collaboration.
This year’s theme centers on student mobility and the role of international offices in supporting it. A total of 26 participants from 23 partner universities across 13 countries—including Canada, France, the Netherlands, and Ireland—have travelled to Prague to take part.
Throughout the week, participants engage in a diverse programme of workshops, presentations, and discussions. A key focus is on supporting students at different stages of their mobility journey—from their initial interest in studying abroad through to their return home. The programme also includes sessions on using social media, digital tools, and student ambassadors to effectively communicate with students.
Additional discussions address support for incoming international students, as well as the ways in which students themselves can contribute to promoting international opportunities and supporting their peers. Alongside the professional programme, participants can also enjoy a social programme that allows them to explore Prague beyond the university setting.
Prague International Staff Week once again confirms its role as a platform for sharing inspiration, ideas, and innovation in the field of higher education internationalisation.
