Additional Application Period for the Exchange Programme in the Spring Semester 2021

The additional application period for the Exchange Programme Abroad in the Spring semester 2021 for Bachelor as well as Master students will take place in September 2020 (the exact dates here). The application criteria and the general conditions of the additional application period are the same as of the standard Exchange Programme application period, with the exceptions stated below.

Who can apply

Bachelor’s – 3^rd year

• Students who will be enrolled in their 4^th or higher* semester of a Bachelor study at VSE in September 2020.

*Applications of students of English-taught degree programmes, that will be in the 5^th or higher semester of a bachelor study in September 2020, must be first assessed by their Academic Director, who decides if the students can take part in the exchange or not.

Master’s

• Students who will be enrolled in a Master study at VSE in September 2020 and who had already completed at least 1 semester at VSE* (during their previous Bachelor or their current Master study at VSE).

*Applications of students of English-taught degree programmes, that will be in the 3^rd or higher semester of a master study in September 2020, must be first assessed by their Academic Director, who decides if the students can take part in the exchange or not.

Repeated Exchange within the same level of study

With regard to the unusual situation of the Spring 2020 exchanges, which were influenced by the COVID-19, VSE decided that the students selected to the Spring 2020 exchange will be exceptionally allowed to apply for another exchange within the same level of study.

• The following students will be allowed to apply:
  • Students selected to the Spring 2020 exchange (no matter if their exchange terminated in connection with COVID-19 or not),
    • Students who completed their exchange semester in Spring 2020 (online or in person) need to seek the approval of their Academic Director before applying for another exchange within the same level of study.
  • Students selected to the Fall 2020 exchange, whose exchange semester was cancelled (or moved online) by the partner university and to whom the deferral of the exchange to the Spring semester 2021 was not offered.
    • Students need to seek the approval of their Academic Director first.
