University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria/School of Medical Engineering and Applied Social Sciences informovala o plánované aktivitě „International Days 2023“. Případní zájemci o výukovou mobilitu, nechť se obrací přímo na školu v zahraničí. V případě přijetí je potřeba si ověřit možnost financování z programu Erasmus+ na OZS (radka.vavakova [at] vse.cz). Požadavek na E+ výukovou mobilitu je odučit 8 hodin.

We would like to invite you to our International Days 2023 – „Crossroads in Social Work” which will take place from June 12-16, 2023.

We are inviting teaching colleagues to take an active part in this programme by giving a lecture or leading a workshop (eligible for Erasmus+ Teaching Exchange funding). Also, we would be more than happy to welcome your students to join us for these international days and receive up to 2 ECTS for their participation. In addition to lectures and workshops, our programme will include site visits to social organisations active in a variety of different areas, such as immigration, social work with offenders or drugs and addiction. For overseas-students and lecturers an extension to 2nd week of stay (until June 24, 2023) is possible. Further details upon request.

Cultural Trip (optional):
On Monday, June 12, 2023, we will show you the beauty of Austria and take the chance to get to know each other before the official start of the international days. Join us for an optional trip to the famous Hallein Salt Mine. After that we will visit Salzburg where you will have the possibility of exploring this picturesque city on your own before we then return to Linz.

Participation Fee:
International Days – June 13-16, 2023  – 70,– Euro/student and 90,– Euro/lecturer.
The fee will cover costs such as welcome and farewell lunch/dinner, weekly-pass for public transport Linz, etc.
Optional cultural trip to Hallein Salt Mine & Salzburg – June 12, 2023 – 50,– Euro/student and 70,– Euro/lecturer.

Travel costs, costs for lodging and meals (apart of the welcome and farewell dinner) are to be covered by the participants individually.

In order to register for our event, please send us an e-mail to international@fh-linz.at and let us know whether you are a lecturer or student. We will then send you the application form.

Accommodation:
Linz offers a variety of hotels at different price levels. We have pre-reserved a certain number of rooms at a nearby hotel with a special room rate. We’ll give you further details after your registration. Also, one of the cheapest and most convenient ways of staying in Linz is through Airbnb.  Please book your stay individually.
