Germany: THWS International Teaching Week, Würzburg

Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt has annouced the organization of  the International Teaching Week.  Please, contact the host institution directly if you are interested in this offer. In case of acceptance, please contact the International Office (radka.vavakova [at] vse.cz).

We invite you to our next International Teaching Week, taking place from May 4 to May 8, 2026. We are looking for bachelor’s courses that our students can take in their 6th semester, such as Computer Science, Business Information Systems, E-Commerce, Information Security, and Digital Society.

The organization of the International Week will remain the same as in previous years. It will be a one-week course worth 5 ECTS credit points with classes from Monday to Friday at noon and exams on Friday afternoon. Monday to Thursday, classes run all day, from approx. 8 am to 5 pm. Exams can be oral (e.g., a student presentation) or written. All classes are held in our building, and all students will be on-site.

We would be pleased if you could submit a proposal for a course by January 23, 2026. We need the title of the course and a brief description (approximately 200 words) that clearly states the learning objectives.

The next steps are planned as follows:

  1. By the end of January 2026, the faculty will decide which courses will be offered.
  2. The students will then choose the courses at the end of February, and we can finally inform you at the beginning of March 2026 whether the course will take place.

Date of event 4-8 May 2026
