Erasmus+ and Beyond: Your Journey to Success in the Global Market!

The Erasmus+ programme and other scholarship opportunities open doors for VSE students to the entire world. From study exchanges at prestigious universities to internships in international companies, students discover new cultures, languages and gain valuable experiences that enrich their academic and personal journeys. And it is precisely through internships that you can broaden your horizons in a way that theoretical lectures or seminars cannot offer. By completing an internship, you can significantly expand your knowledge, teamwork skills, and competencies that employers seek, thus better positioning yourself in the job market after graduation. Additionally, every tenth participant in an internship within the Erasmus+ program has founded their own company.

Internships Abroad

The possibility to realize an internship abroad during studies at VSE is currently open to students from all faculties. However, the conditions may vary. On some of the faculties, this opportunity is available only to students at specific study levels or in particular fields. Credit recognition for internships abroad also varies.

At certain faculties, it is possible to carry out internships exclusively within the Erasmus+ program, while elsewhere, students can travel to non-European countries with varying levels of financial support.

Detailed conditions, including contact persons, are available on the websites or intranets of individual faculties.

Tereza Sloupová (FIR, CzechTrade London - UK)

“I had the unique opportunity to be part of the operations at the CzechTrade UK and Ireland office based in London. My task was to support the local team of experts across various domains, providing me with insights into the diverse activities of this institution. I assisted in creating registries of potential business partners for Czech exporters and also pparticipated in reaching out to UK companies whose profiles matched our clients’ needs. I wrote interesting news from the industry for both the Czech and British CzechTrade websites and even had the opportunity to participate in the Czech-British Business Forum or the Design Industry Fair. This internship provided me with a practical understanding of international trade and negotiation, which I consider a valuable complement to my studies.”
