A very brief introduction...

The University of Economics, Prague, is a public higher education institution (HEI).
Financially speaking, being a public HEI in the Czech Republic means that the respective institution receives important financial support from the national budget and provides degree programmes taught in Czech language free of charge (unless the individual student's length of study exceeds the so called standard length of study) to both national and international students.
