Exam period: 21 December 2015 – 4 February 2016

* all exchange students will be given a chance to finish their exams of regular courses by end of classes, i.e. December 18,  2015. However not all the grades will be recorded in the system by then so if a student receive between 50 – 59 points as the total for a course, they will be given an opportunity to retake a final exam for this course during the exam period.  Consequently, if the students do not retake the final exam, they will be given a failing grade for the course. Exchange students can take exams also during the exam period upon previous agreement with the lecturer.

Spring Semester 2016

Nomination deadline: 1 November 2015 (1 October for non-EU students)

Application deadline: 30 November 2015 (15 October for non-EU students)

Registration of Courses: 4 January - 26 January 2016

Orientation week: 8 February - 14 February 2016 (the presence is highly recommended)

Classes: 15 February - 13 May 2016

  • 1 January (Restoration Day of the Independent Czech State)
  • 25 March (Good Friday)
  • 28 March (Easter Monday)
  • 1 May (Labour day)
  • 8 May (Liberation Day)
  • 5 July (St Cyril and Methodius Day)

Exam period: 16 May - 24 June 2016

* all exchange students will be given a chance to finish their exams of regular courses  by end of classes, i.e. May 13,  2016. However not all the grades will be recorded in the system by then so if a student receive between 50 – 59 points as the total for a course, they will be given an opportunity to retake a final exam for this course during the exam period.  Consequently, if the students do not retake the final exam, they will be given a failing grade for the course.
